Meet Your SLP
Angela is a dedicated bilingual (English/Spanish) speech-language pathologist with over 12 years of experience serving children of all ages and abilities. She earned her Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Teachers College, Columbia University, and is a certified member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
Angela has extensive experience in early intervention, preschool, and school-based settings, with a primary focus on students in grades K–5. She currently provides speech-language services in a public school setting and also offers private speech-language therapy through in-person services throughout Westchester County, New York, as well as teletherapy for families in New Jersey and Florida. In addition, she supervises graduate students pursuing master's degrees in speech-language pathology and serves as a mentor to new teachers.
Angela has presented workshops on speech and language development in a variety of professional and academic settings, including The Shirvan Family Live Well Center at Englewood Health, as well as colleges and universities. She has also participated in international clinical service, conducting evaluations and providing treatment at Hospital del Niño in Miraflores, Bolivia, and contributing to the construction of a bottle school in San Martín Jilotepeque, Guatemala.
Angela is passionate about partnering with families to provide individualized, evidence-based therapy that empowers children to build confidence and reach their communication goals. She values building meaningful relationships with each child and family while creating engaging, functional therapy experiences tailored to their unique strengths and needs.
Outside of work, Angela enjoys traveling, visiting museums, exploring new restaurants, and spending quality time with her husband and toddler.
